Marrying engineering with sound global health policy to bring digital health to scale
Entuura is committed to the implementation and scaling of sustainable digital health solutions and contributing to the strengthening of health systems in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular SDG 3 - Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
We demonstrate these commitments through:
-
Approaching our work though the lens of the WHO WHA 71 Resolution on Digital Health. Recognising that while technology and innovations can enhance health service capabilities, human interaction remains a key element to patients’ well-being. We also deem to underscore the need to ensure that digital health solutions complement and enhance existing health service delivery models, strengthen integrated, people-centred health services and contribute to improved population health, and health equity, including gender equality, and addressing the lack of evidence on the impact of digital health in these respects;
-
Endorsement of the Principals of Donor Alignment for Digital Health. We strive as a private sector organization to operate in line with these key principles guiding future innovation and investment in health systems around the world. In particular Entuura seeks grow market though the conscious development of global good and through the scaling of sustainable country capacity to govern their technology infrastructure independently. We further seek to foster capacity building at country level through the support and engagement with information-sharing and peer-learning networks. In particular we continue to endeavour to play a key role in the global community around DHIS2.
